Why not bide your time and discover and test outstanding Swiss design at the same time? The Swiss Design Lounge enables visitors to experience Swiss furniture classics and current designs first-hand. The compact selection of armchairs, chairs, tables, sideboards, lamps, carpets, and curtains also shows the historical spectrum between standard furniture and living landscape, functionality and creative force. The light-suffused room on Ausstellungsstrasse overlooking the local park is open to everyone. Visitors are invited to hold meetings or chat, browse through the museum’s publications or to leave hectic everyday life behind while relaxing on a daybed.
