The graphic design studio MAXIMAGE positions itself somewhere between design and the craft of printing. In their projects they establish connections between manual and digital processes, which they make usable for new printing processes. Their latest project is the Color Library. It was developed in order to simplify experiments with print colors by artists, designers, and printers. It is part of the research project “Workflow”, which was developed at the ECAL and funded by HES-SO.
