Improvised Chamber Music
While Nils Wogram has celebrated the sensuality of the moment in almost all of his projects to date, the sensuality of the lasting comes to the fore on Muse. The lingering in the form plays a major role in the chamber music-like impression of this constellation. Warm sounds sometimes recall the portraits of an Amadeo Modigliani, frozen into still life. To stay in the picture, the compositions of the album do not so much imagine the leaf that blithely moves in a spontaneous gust of wind, but rather the vase that decorates a room in its once created form and plays with the light.
With Kathrin Pechlof, harp, Hayden Chisholm, alto sax, Gareth Lubbe, viola, and Nils Wogram, trombone.
The exhibition Architectural Icons revisited will be open a half hour before and after the concert.
