Robotic Animation to Physicalize Typography
With Fabian Harb and Renan Rosatti from Swiss type design agency Dinamo, in collaboration with the Robotics Aesthetics & Usability Center (RAUC), ETHZ
Bring virtual motion type into the physical world, by using the friendly, open robotic Being Kits, provided at the workshop. Play with both; the transitions between positive and negative forms/ shapes of morphing characters as well as the expressions with which they move and behave. Intuitively begin to develop a personal, subjective language of motion.
Requirement: Bring your own laptop, no background in technology
