Forum with children's track in the Social Design exhibition

About the project

Visitors used the vision barometer to express their personal assessment of the social impact of social design and to comment on weekly changing questions on a sounding board. At the City Statistics station, they explored various aspects of the quality of life in their city and got talking. Children were able to explore the exhibition themselves on a course, contribute their own ideas and suggestions for improving their environment and become members of the Design Kids Club, which was to be installed as a permanent programme for children from the neighbourhood as part of the museum school in the studio on Ausstellungsstrasse and was implemented in the Museumjung project. With a module for project recommendations, the forum offered a platform for knowledge and suggestions from visitors. The online forum opened up the exhibition to the digital space. With drop-in offers at the exhibited loom, there was a lively exchange with experts from the public, supervised by the mediating visitor service.
