More about the location

Europe's largest milk processing plant produced the famous yogurt in a jar on the Toni site until 1999. The huge building from 1977 is representative of a piece of industrial history that has left a lasting mark on the surrounding neighborhood. The conversion and transformation process of the former milk factory began in 2009 on behalf of Allreal. The architectural firm EM2N was responsible for the conversion from 2011-2014. Today, the Toni-Areal offers space for teaching, research, culture, gastronomy and living. Over 5,000 students, lecturers, researchers and employees study and work here.
