Permanent exhibition

The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich holds the largest international design collection in Switzerland. The permanent exhibition presents highlights from it and makes parts of the archive accessible.
The Swiss Design Collection showcases highlights from graphic design, typography, poster design, textile and product design, as well as decorative arts. Around 2,500 objects and an accessible archive allow visitors to experience design in all its diversity. The Forum provides space for external voices to offer new insights into the collection in temporary installations. In the integrated Studio, visitors can experiment with creating their own designs, deepen their knowledge, or simply relax.
