At its three locations, the museum offers schoolchildren and apprentices a versatile platform for learning and experimentation, with a focus on current design topics.
The Museum für Gestaltung works together with the following organizations.
The Schule+Kultur department of the Canton of Zurich Department of Education opens the door to many different forms of art and culture for schoolchildren. By providing financial support for workshops (elementary school and upper secondary school) and dialogue-based guided tours (upper secondary school) at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Schule+Kultur enables school classes to participate in culture and encourages children and young people to become get creative themselves.
Schulkultur Stadt Zürich provides teachers at all school levels with a wide range of opportunities for musical and creative arts education. The aim is to promote and establish aesthetic and cultural education in schools. Schulkultur provides a series of free workshops for the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich every year.
The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is a network partner of the Kultur macht Schule program of the Canton of Aargau’s cultural education department. Aargau school classes take part in our workshops, guided tours and interactive tours with funding from the Canton of Aargau.

There is no admission charge for Swiss public school pupils up to the end of upper secondary level.
Reduced admission prices apply for private schools, colleges, universities and classes from abroad: CHF 8 per person.
