According to the Dutch design collective Platform21, repair is the new recycling. In the “Repair Manifesto” they call for a radical rethinking and at the same time invite us to discover the joy of repairing. For the version on display in the entrance hall of the Toni-Areal, discarded advertising tarpaulins from the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich were reused.
