Stop Motion – Moving Posters

Artists and graphic artists have always played with extending two-dimensional, static surfaces by a third level, thus deceiving the eye. Traditional stylistic means include a narrowing of perspective and the plastic reproduction of motifs. Techniques borrowed from optical or psychedelic art irritate the retina, while photographic techniques such as blurring make images vibrate. Stop Motion presents creative approaches that have enriched poster history by suggesting movement and dynamics.
