Not Just Roads tells the story of the massive urban transformation currently taking place in India. Through poetic images and unexpected perspectives, the film explores how new highways and hastily constructed real estate projects around Delhi are reshaping people’s lives and the surroundinglandscape. 

The event concludes with a discussion, offering the opportunity to ask questions and to explore the newly published book Cinema and the City in the Era of Planetary Urbanisation (2026).
