With Rafael Kouto, creative director, fashion designer and lecturer
The Rafael Kouto brand stands for upcycling, community couture and fair production of fashion. In the drop-in workshop, the audience is invited to join Rafael Kouto in rethinking and upcycling worn clothing. Learn about different upcycling methods in fashion and from contemporary West African artists using traditional couture as well as DIY techniques of sewing, printing and embroidery.
Please bring old clothes, textiles or other suitable waste materials! The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as advanced students, adults and children.
