125 years of APG|SGA and 150 years of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, two institutions with a long history: to mark their double anniversary, they are jointly presenting a virtual exhibition with a selection of consumption posters from the past and present. Whether charming, provocative, or playful – subjects are shown that deal with the topic of "anniversary" in quite diverse ways – sometimes loud, sometimes subtle, but always visually strong. Whether it is 550 years of Schabziger, or 100 years of Swiss advertising films, products and brands also like to celebrate their birthdays – and posters are often an invitation to do so.
