For three years, there were projects, workshops, festivals in the museum, at school and at other locations and many more great events as part of Museumjung. This required a lot of advertising!

Together with the graphic design studio Herendi Artemisio, students developed the advertising material for the Museumjung project. Based on a graphic framework by Milana Herendi and Tiziana Artemisio, several young teams created font, image and drawing motifs for three poster variants in a multi-stage design process, which also functioned as flyers when folded. The individual design steps as well as the final results were regularly discussed with input from all teams in the group as a whole. The content of the advertising material could be adapted to the respective events during the course of the project.
The logo designed by Herendi Artemisio takes up the motif of the iconic Eternit beach chair by Swiss design pioneer Willy Guhl, animated by attentive gazing eyes. New perspectives are in demand: Young people are watching you. The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is curious about the ideas and opinions that children, teenagers and young adults develop as they engage with the museum, its rules and customs, its collections and exhibitions, and how they see the future of the museum as an open, lively place that is part of their cultural identity(ies).
The Museumjung posters have been added to the poster collection of the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich.
