Film screening at the Toni cinema (level 3, according to Lageplan Toni-Areal)
Original language: Italian, subtitles: English
For the filmmaker Heinz Bütler, “La mosca e la ragnatela” (The Fly and the Net) is an attempt at a cinematic biography of the graphic artist Bruno Monguzzi in fifteen chapters. Two long-standing friends define the field of what constitutes the essence and complexity of Monguzzi’s visual communication and choose an elementary narrative form for this: the monologue. This was preceded by many dialogues of the long-standing friends. Audible questions and the presence of the filmmaker in the film were unnecessary.
