With the construction of the Indian planned city of Chandigarh 75 years ago, Le Corbusier completed his most significant urban planning project. Chandigarh is a controversial total work of art, a modernist utopia. The film follows four artists living in the planned city and, through an atmospherically rich narrative, reflects on Le Corbusier’s legacy, utopian urban ideas, and the cultural differences between East and West.
