Sound artist, singer and composer Mara Miccichè, better known as Iokoi, explores the essence of being through sound art. Combining avant-pop and spoken word with field recordings, Iokoi traces the increasing disembodiment in the digital age. Her performances focus on the many connections, contradictions and reflections between the self, the same and the other.
