2025 – A Special Year: The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich Celebrates 150 Years!

The anniversary offers an opportunity to honor the rich history of Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, highlight current developments in design, and look to the future.

In April, our anniversary celebrations continue! After a diverse and successful January program at Ausstellungsstrasse, we will continue the festivities at Toni-Areal:

As proud custodians of Switzerland's largest international design collection, we are celebrating our 150th anniversary with the opening of the Swiss Design Collection on April 10, accompanied by an anniversary weekend on Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13. Admission is free, and a special program awaits you.

New from the opening of the Swiss Design Collection:

• Free admission on Thursday evenings from 5 PM
• Free admission for young adults under 20 years old
• Combination ticket for all three museum locations: Ausstellungsstrasse, Toni-Areal, and Pavillon Le Corbusier

And for those who want to get creative themselves, you are warmly invited to the Offenes Atelier für alle (Open Studio for everyone), every Sunday at Ausstellungsstrasse.
